Under this new line of employment, T erm employees are those engaged for a specific project or limited period with the definite understanding that their employment is to terminate upon completion of the project or at the end of the period. Employment is expected to continue for more than one (1) year, but no more than three (3) years, no benefits, and what a sweet deal for the company!,

Union can't say much since they are paid by the company
18 Years ago is not exactly now,
I started working for the company 18years ago as a term employee. I was told from the beginning that my employment could end at any time. I had full benefits, including health benefits, and pension. After three years I was laid off but given the opportunity to apply elsewhere. 18yrs later here I am still employed by att. People, if you're under the age of 60 and dreaming of retiring from att or any company, you better wake up from that dream. Take it one day at a time, enjoy it while you can, and when the time comes move on to something else. I promise you the world won't end!
