Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

T in wonder-doubt

T convinced everyone that U-Verse was the future, but everyone except the execs knew that digging up everyone's lawn was going to be too costly. The initial Uverse installs required 2 techs to do the install. Not sure how things are going today. They stopped the rollout simply because it cost too much. Who didn't know that !!!

Now we have this clown who says everyone wants to watch movies on their smartphone or tablet. Right. Another losing strategy, with the outdated DTV platform, and the unknown- to date T-Flix, such unoriginal concept.

Google is going in the right direction. Give me my content via wireless that I can stream to my TV so I can cancel my T service

Remember the T-Mobile failed acquisition and the $1B payout? Well guess which exec made that stupid decision? Yep you guessed it, the one in charge of AT&T Entertainment Group aka DirecTV.

I knew the "content" excuse would come up sooner or latter. What content exactly? Its the same bloated packages and channels every other TV dinosaur provider offers that no one wants with the only thing maybe worth something being the Sunday Ticket but even that can be streamed legally or not. What a waste of money and resulting waste of workforce and talent on a sinking ship.

The execs are now saying that the reason for the DTV purchase is for the content :)

For every screw up our leadership does, they should get panalized out of their own pocket. We will see how many mistakes will happen than.
