Thread regarding Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) layoffs

HPE and HPI both had cutbacks, some of which directly affected my team. Notifications started today and will continue through the week.

For those of us still with HPE but have EDS pensions, do you know what HPI plans to do with the pensions that aren't taken by the employee in the current offering period?

I was a long time EDS'er that wound up with HPE. I was WFR'ed from HPE in late 2014. I am finally am able to access the last holdback amount of my pension benefit (HP is divesting itself of EDS pensions).

If you were an employee of EDS then HP before the 2015 split your EDS pension is administered by HPI. So some us do care about HPI even if we don't work there. Yes the pension plan seems to be funded but I still would rather not have HPI have anything to do with any of my retirement monies.

Don't want to be rude, but I don't care about HPI anymore...
