Al Sharpton on Verizon's Payroll according to NY Post

But The Rev was not clear at all about one thing — that Verizon and other major corporations had been paying Sharpton and NAN thousands of dollars in donations.

Anders said he was shocked to read a Post exclusive in August 2015 about how companies paid Sharpton what amounted to “protection” money, and companies that didn’t donate, such as GM, were threatened with bad press or NAN-promoted boycotts.

“I had no idea that he was in bed with Verizon,” Anders told The Post. When Anders called to ask about the inaction on his case, and about the Post exposé, Sharpton went ballistic, the trucker said.

“He said people write stuff about him all the time,” Anders said. “Then for a year and a half he strung us along.”

Anders’ federal suit seeks $1.75 million in damages from Sharpton and Verizon for “conspiring” against him. Asked about Anders on Saturday, Sharpton said, “Who? I have no idea what you’re talking about.”

Don't hold your breath waiting for a response from VZ Corp Communications, they will only answer sugary topics such as whether Pokeman will use up their data plan. That group has a lot of loads that need to move on.

Are Sharpton and L-Dog in the same go90 "crew"? I just want to know.

I recall. Right before the Verizon merger. The amount 'gifted' to Jesse 'James' was $10 million, and one of his buddies was made a 'partner' on a wireless deal. Needless to say, Jesse James did not deliver the 271 approvals for Bell Atlantic properties or anything else.

So it would not be surprising at all for the company to be paying extortion 'protection' money to formerly Fat Al Sharpon via his "Rainbow Hush Money Coalition."

Many of you may recall that VZ, well, GTE and BA at the time, had to pay Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition, Operation Push, and a few of his other foundations "blessing money." What is blessing money? It was money paid to Jackson for his blessing of the GTE/BA merger. Pre merger Jesse was voicing his concern that minorities may be impacted with the merger. VZ has since been giving yearly contributions to this clown's organizations, at least through 2015, in what amounts to hush / protection money, no different than what's going on with the good reverend Sharpton. Pathetic.

I really hope the Verizon Foundation is not funding Al Sharpton, directly or indirectly. Corp communications should comment on this story.
