As of now, all that's being offered is part time service technicians in Pittsburgh. Letter says 24 hours a week. Union sold them out again. If I were them, I wouldn't pay any dues until they get regular full time. Union should be kissing their bums. Not only did cwa help the company walk these guys out, they didn't even bargain to get em back when they had the company by the balls on strike. Most moved on and found out life outside of VZ is a happy life.

Funny thing about the "overwhelmingly ratified" contract. Of the 100 or so employees that I know, less than 10 voted yes. Another contract, another sell out. The only difference this year was we also lost 7 weeks of wages before getting screwed. The same day of the "ratification" notice, it was back to the same old bull$hit, 12 hour forced days, threats & harassment. Now you want men & women who have been trained and are professional field techs to sit at a cubicle and talk on the phone all day? It's time for all of us to just accept the truth. Whether you are union or not, you are nothing more than a number to some bean counter who's bonus is based upon cutting jobs, despite the negative effect to the business and most importantly the customer. Sorry......F Verizon and F the unions. 🖕

How about you go to the fsc where it is a prison cell and i get my job back at what im good at, a service tech. But why not? Aren't you guys still, a year later, working 12hr days? We were sold out. Plain and simple. The case to bring it up to labor is there in black and white, yet, the union wont do sh-- other than offer to put your name at top of list for a fsc job
They should try for the fsc jobs. 40 hours
