Wake up! its not for outdated services it's for all services ATT sells now and will get bigger. MasTec hires nationwide and will just be one of the contractor company's.
they are also doing maintenance work on cell site locations. Does anyone in Mobility know or even care...nope. People I talked to said it wont cause them any problems. Well guess what, once they start working in the MTSO's guess who will be gone.
keep the head in the sand and when it becomes clear it will be too late.
ATT is using contractors for a lot of installs from line to house wireline. People think the contractor use is limited but in realty you wont have a clue unless they do what MasTec does to get workers. They are in a lot of states and expanding as ATT drops wireline services. Once they get a deal with Frontier they generally move to doing their work. ATT is in front of the various states requesting Non Dominate status to be allowed to dump wireline and video. They do not have to do it in Texas because Verizon was the primary carrier. They are looking to dump California, Florida, Georgia, Nevada and a few Midwest states.
Surprised? don't be it will all be don't by 2020.

Direct TV installer would be my guess. Mine was installed by a contractor, MasTec, in an AT&T wrapped van.

U-Verse is not more, probably selling outdated DTV services
