I'm curious if you believe your team, department, and/or orgianization is on track to bringing the "2020 vision" to reality.

I've prepared for 2020 by updating my resume! I've got a bad feeling about this!
Small call centers in rental locations will allow ATT to close them without much notice and no interaction with others in the building.
@IXMNYVH-1lhn what city and state are you in?
Our call center is hiring 100 new reps as well, but I can't understand why when they basically made no secret that AT&T wants small call centers. Just hoping to get out of this place by year's end.
Sorry to hear that. And yet, our center is growing. Doesn't make sense to me. We have 4 new classes and we are told by the end of the year we will have an additional 180 reps.
WE were told Friday that although we all completed the required training we had to go down by 40%.
Nice, no warning , no prospects for a future.
Atlanta call center.
It's funny in our team we have no one left to do the job. Most of the people left do the job for 5 or more people. We are being pushed to do even more and on top of our daily duties we are expected to provide full operational documentations that usually requires a full staff of technical writers. Further we do not have any funds available to set up proper automation to assist with the work load. We do not even know what our support budget is, So, I expect we will be gone soon.
I've completed all 20/20 training through marketing skills, and I fully expect to be surplussed by Q1 2017.
On track to find a new employer, OR full unemployment
If by "2020 vision" you mean automate and eliminate, then yes.
Most of us hope to leave the titanic by 2020 before she hits bottom!
Nope. I always thought 2020 was the illusive unicorn to keep the board distracted giving Randall enough time for complete pillage.
Sure sunset will be in full power down.,but how sustainable is showing revenue by getting rid of everyone (and all the wrong people -typically people who spoke up about things). Pretty soon you'll need to create new stuff. Att doesn't have the culture for that, it's been built around fast/slick talk and butt kissing and defending the status quo champions. -and there's no money there.
Why does that matter? By the time you do they will lay you off anyway. I busted my tail for 18 months and completed every bit of 2020 training I could (being told that is what is expected and required to keep your job. Didn't matter.
Thanks really needed a good laugh!!
