I'm curious too about the indirect Armageddon..is that a guess or do you have real inside info? With all the changes in responsibilities it looks like they're edging the AE role out
Where's the info coming from as far as the AE position elimination?
Any AE who gets surprised by a layoff now is a complete idiot and deserves what they get. They have plenty of time to look for a new job and just needed to google "indirect layoffs att" to know what going on.
ATT will be cutting a few AEs in Q3 and Q4 to get many of the tenured survivors they couldn't get in the last cut. Then the big one happens in Q1 where its Indirect Armageddon and 1 director for each indirect market with ARSM on COR only. All AEs gone, some ARSM too.
I hear more to come in 1st qtr, I agree with the last post...
some never will believe they will be hit. some will never realize they have been lied to. Some will never like to hear anything bad. some will feel bad. Some will look at the boss and think they are in good.
some will believe the company will never downsize their department. Some will think these pots are all bull.
41 in my department. 60 day notice today.
Hit a sore spot yet?
Like how it's been echoed in previous threads, I think time is ticking. The roles and responsibilities being shifted over to AR/NR reps and in the timeline that has been put up almost makes it seem like it's got a 1-2 years left
Calm down Rob
