Employees are are valuable assets and loved by the company. They would never RIF to make room for lower wage immigrants!

I had exec emails disclosed to me in my lawsuit that revealed Verizon completed planning the January 2015 RIFs in early November. So the lead is an least 2-3 months.
Timing sounds right, Thursday of a pay week, last week of the month, gives those affected 30 days to find another position (as if 😁) and Shamwow can cite the expense savings that would be realized in 2H16 as counterpoint to the expected weak 2Q results he previewed in London a couple weeks ago.
