Company is negotiating on behalf of Frontier right now. Within 24 months copper and fios will be sold to them.

Frontier has been a disaster wherever Verizon sold off wireline to them. Why do you think the Feds are involved in these talks? They will make it very clear to the company that they will NOT be dumping a crucial telecommunications network to these clowns. Most businesses (all?) run on copper or Fios phone service. Including the Government, the military, the banks, Wall Street. You're high if you think Verizon will get away with that.
Although to be fair, Frontier never had a chance with Verizon's network. They let it deteriorate to a shameful degree.
Google might..but then they might not because Verizon is trying to compete with Google as far as digital marketing etc.
Who the hell wants you guys at all? Nobody wants union people.
There is no way they will sell the north east to frontier. No matter how much they complain about the wire side, new York city and washington DC is much too profitable for them to get rid of it.
"It will be great if Frontier buys the remaining FIOS footprint and cut salaries and benefits to all the Union A-holes!"
They've done no such thing in any of the territories that they've bought from Verizon...many of which were both FiOS-heavy and unionized...
Frontier may want to, but there debt is too high as it is.
Centurylik does not have the money.
VES (or parts there of), cannot be sold off-shore.
I would like it, but doubt anyone can buy wireline at this time.
You should do a little reading before making stupid posts.
