Technology Celebrity Mr. Anderson, aka Neo, aka The One has come out in support of the oppressed members of the Verizon Union. Please see below for the transcript from this interview:
Interviewer: Hello Neo, I wanted to get your thoughts on the ongoing Verizon strike.
Neo: I am 100% behind the union on this one. A big shout out to my brothers and sisters keeping up the good fight.
Interviewer: Verizon says there is little value in the aging copper and fiber wireline business and that the future is in wireless technologies.
Neo: F’ that man. Can you imagine jacking in from the Nebuchadnezzar and you are happily zooming across old asscopper and then you turn on a fiber and boom your at a cell site. Now you can either go on and go 3G, 4G, and soon 5G but how does that even work….It’s Scary. How can you tell where you are going or where you came from. It’s straight suicide.
Interviewer: Have you heard anyone else speaking out in favor of the Union?
Neo: Of course. My best good friend Morpheus was just saying the other day “I fear the day all those crappy tunnels heading to Zion are free of broken cables and pipes. It will ruin the entire vibe of heading to the surface. Sure it will be clean and more effective but I just dig the vintage look. It really makes people wonder how the F**K can a world even be down here.”
Interviewer: Any words of wisdom for the CWA and IBEW members
Neo: Copper and Pay phones rule. Give it 3 years and everyone will give up their beepers and come crawling back. Never stop believing brothers and sisters, we are the future.
