Broadcast Software Engineering within DTV is lead by a joke of a bossy VP and her lieutenants are just as clueless what leadership means. Morale is so low that people are leaving left and right.

My bro works in her department, and hates it everyday just as all of his colleagues. That hog creates so many useless tools and processes, and nothing else, and tortures people by forcing them to use those sh--ty tools. And she surrounds herself with a bunch of kiss-assdirectors who are equally useless
I heard from one of the directors that she was fired from her previous job for incompetency. She knows a VP who brought her to Directv. She always kiss a$$ to that guy while being bossy to other. She screwed up many things, but then blamed them on him and they fired him and she took over. Ha ha
ShE keeps talking about processes and tools, and knows nothing else. ALWAYS ANGRYYY
Well, I know who she is. She did a great job ruining DirecTV since 2009. The whole reason DirecTV was sold was thanks to her: she got rid of talented engineers and replaced them with her incompetent kiss-assers. As long as she is still there, I would bet my farm that AT&T will eventually be sold to someone else.
You know the manager is a woman?? She is! And yes, her direct reports are very good at licking ass You guys are definitely describing the same person. Wow.
I know who you are talking about, she's incompetent and over-controlling. Loves layoffs. Makes her come across as strong, in reality she's super insecure.
I was a software engineer at AT&T and got laid off because my idiot manager only understood data entry and hated when we developed software.
You ever notice that when things aren't going well with her group she lays off a number of people, making it look like they were the problem? A real bullet dodger this one.
I wonder when T management will catch a clue?
I'm hoping for the payout, I'm already getting calls for potential jobs. No offers yet. Does anyone know when there's going to be layoffs in engineering? I'd hate to miss a big payout.
HaHa, there are things that never change, if this company wants something done it will be achieved through another company, our ludeship lost their way, LONG time ago
