Pqk... I guess you can't read I never called management EWA scabs. The scabs are who responds to Verizon ads. I guess you put yourself in that category. As for management at my location, there have been no issues. If you are getting yelled at your are probably a scab. We all realize we have to go and work along these EWA when we return. Our relationship has always been mutual respect

At least as Union we have the guts to stand up for something. We are doing this for our families, setting an example that it's time for working people everywhere to not just sit back and take whatever crumb a company throws your way. You want respect, then earn it. Where I am we understand EWA are doing what they doing because they have no protection. SCABS deserve anything they are called, they signed up for this knowing there was a strike. If the police or teachers acted like the CWA/IBEW then they too will not have any respect from me. the vile, disgusting, abhorrent behavior I've witnessed during this strike has shown me the lowest level of human behavior. I can't believe that any person with morals or character can act in such a manner, so I can only assume the union is full of heathens who have no faith or belief system to guide them. So, I'll say it again. I've lost total respect for the union.

@vza. They should have earned your respect. They did what they had to do in order to provide for their families. For most normal people, that alone would give you reason to respect them. And from where I stand, the EWA people walk passed you every day without saying a word while you spit, curse, and threaten to rape their wives and daughters. They have earned the respect of countless people just by remaining silent and professional in a less than desirable situation.

@OP. I didn't have much respect for union to begin with, but the little I did have is gone as well. The fact that they are putting their greed, arrogance, and pride ahead of taking care of their families did it for me. No self-respecting man would voluntarily walk away from a good paying job and let his family suffer. It's disgusting to even look at them now. I'll never have any respect for any union member after this, and I wouldn't walk across the street to spit on them if they were on fire.
