Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

I had sympathy for the union until....

I just went to a bank in westchester county and there was deliberate damage done to there network... The pole that is on the roof is completely bent over and the wire is hanging down... The teller said they think it was done by the union also... Everything is being done manually and they have to call other branches to make sure money is in accts if someone is withdrawing money..You guys are truly POS, D-bags, trash.... If you need to damage equipment to prove you are needed then apparently you are not needed... You guys make me sick.. And yeah you guys live your customers... BS.

Contact Director Tom Wright . Maybe he can explain the blatant disregard for the outside plant here in Westchester Country. Please look up his number on the VZ web and give it to the customer it you really care.

"The pole that is on the roof is completely bent over and the wire is hanging down..."

Wait what? The banks are not using wireless to communicate with their server and other branches? They actually still employ wireline circuits? Shocking! Disgusting!

"You guys make me sick.."

Well, I believe that it's safe to state that you - along with the rest of posters who get their feeds from parallel universes - make the rest of us sick to our stomach, from sheer laughing at all the nonsense if nothing else...

What a sh--post!! Bent the pole? Use your connects to get a scab over there to lick that pole straight again.

@wtx. Haha don't waste your time trying to reason with a union monkey. Facts, just like reality, are things they don't know how to deal with.

Well this makes sense given the thugs the union has working for them. They have no problem sabotaging customers and endangering lives of others. Just proves what a bunch of slack-jawed idiots and crooks they are,

I can settle this dispute. I'm the security officer from this bank. And after reviewing the video from our security cameras, it was obvious the perpetrator had curry-stained lips and a brown nose. So it was definitely and EWA worker.

The bank branch phones aapparently still work. The rumor spreading jack asswho posted this didn't figure that out. Real malicious damage would be cutting the 6 pair cooper drop loof. Maybe bank router went bad.

Bank said they "think" it was done by union members. Doesn't sound like they checked out the half dozen cameras on the property. Real rush to judgement on another's thought. DB.

First off that bank in westchester is stealing from you almost as much as the verizon corp. is. Pole on the roof is bent?? More likely than sabotage, an oversized truck pulled the drop wire or cable down. Any bank that allows it's circuits to be fed by exposed cable is just looking for trouble. The half assed vz engineer that's hiding in an alley today is the one who designed that nice set up. Let your $15/hr teller kno. We're also fighting for her middle class job and a better wage for those like her as well

@moz - interchange "union" with "scabs" in the second sentence of your dumb paragraph, and then you would be 100% correct.

Doesn't surprise me one bit. The riff-raff that makes up the union are mindless, soulless, monkeys who have no idea what ethics are. They are just pathetic low-life scum who are mostly petty thieves and convicts. Have you seen some of these creatures on the picket lines??? It's like a bad imitation of a prison chain gang. Sad thing is, the prisoners actually work harder and have more morals than the union animals!

There is a metal pole on the roof that is bent over.. The teller said the way the cameras were angled they could not make out anyone.. Which leads me to believe... Since union installed it.. They were totally aware of what could be seen from what angle..

So you really think someone went on the roof and bent the mast over? or maybe ( because I've seen it a hundred times) a large truck snagged the wires and bent it? please

Yeah right. With all the cameras around these days, I'm sure it was those evil Union members! Of course it couldn't have been scabs without drivers licenses who have knocked down countless poles. And for all the so called "sabotage" (line cutting), the scabs cut them because they don't have a clue.

More made up nonsense. Damaging equipment/lines etc? That's all in a days work for incompetent scabs or a case of VZ self sabotage to blame it on the union. Scabs are known to use duct tape to hold poles together. Lowell certainly doesn't love customers, but loves all that money being thrown his way thanks to wireline, his personal little piggy bank and cost center.

Everything about the union and this whole strike is BS! The union is sticking up for middle class workers? Bull Sh1t! It's all about them wanting handouts and to get something for nothing. They would rather strike than do an honest day's labor. It's all about getting as much as they can to the least amount of work possible. People outside of the NE are disgusted by it, and this is really adding to the cultural fire to get rid of unions because they are only there to drown out competition. Trump things we make bad trade deals? Well when a company is stuck with slack-jawed, arrogant, overpaid, lazy a$$es, it makes it harder for that company to compete. The union is what is driving down America folks.
