HAHAHAHAHAHA.... The Huffington post is not 'the news'
Wait ? Doesn't Verizon own the Huffington Post? And he works for them? What's wrong with that?
Bruce Kushnick is also a telecom consultant trying to stir the pot for an engagement. A "grassy knoll" conspiracy guy who profits on from the hip conclusions. None of the senior execs are going to do anything involving fraud- they don't need to, they are running one off the most successful American companies around. The NY PSC is about as relevant as the CWA, both from another era gone by.
Bruce Kushnick is an telecom expert in the business over 25 yrs. Has been investigating telecom companies. He has done a series of articles presented information to the PSC and FCC.
Actually he does have a conclusion if you actually read it. The wireline shell game and overcharging customers for build outs has been documented thoroughly and the conclusion is that Verizon should be investigated since services were NOT delivered. I don't know where you're from but that's fraud.
The article doesn't indicate what the problem is. Vz is using Wireline to build out the fiber optic network that will also benefit Wireless. OK, is that illegal in some way? Companies regularly move costs around to minimize taxes but the writer doesn't have any sort of conclusion as to whether Vz is doing something wrong.
