It is the union trying to string their members along, knowing that so many of them are barely hanging on. So they say May 20th, Jun 1st, June 20th. At some point the members will get wise to the fact that they are being strung along so they don't cross. If they all knew what the rest of us know that this will be a very long one, they would cross. Union just trying to keep their flock from thinking for themselves.
Even if they'll return on june 1, in all likelyhood, it will be with another contract that will be significantly less than all the offered ones. So I don't have a clue why they're so happy about june 1.

Best way to go home is to exit the business. Good advice for the union members also; if you are not happy then take command of your life and move on to a company that you will be happier with.
As for the EWA that are working around and with me; they all have a good attitude, are learning, enjoy learning, getting better at the job and generally having a good time. I have not heard one complaint or any moaning from them.
The Union seems to be more unhappy than the EWA's at present.
