25 years a union worker. iwould love to go back to work. i wish i didn't need a union. the reality is with a very large and powerful company like verizon, we need a union to keep things in check... who are these people who run this company anyway? the good old boys, thats who. 25 years ago a real leadership team was running the show. not these clowns who winked at the right time and bent over at the wright angle. all the hate is wrong. its us union and the non union people against them. think people. its not me against you.. god bless you god bless the middle class god bless our childrens future. f--k upper management

Earn a paycheck and look for a better job while we see if we get sold.

Unfortunately we are all going to lose. Verizon will use this data they collected to destroy us next go around, if there is one. If we go back, clearly they'll be a big layoff due to less customers and lower stock price (good bye all after 2013 hires). We lost many customers that aren't coming back, which is what Verizon wants with landline customers anyway. If you scabs and mangers do win this battle, you'll know the meaning of taking it dry real soon. The will romance you for a year or so, then the raping will begin.

I think it might already be too late for many. There has been enough time and money spent on getting "temporary contractors" on the job that it might not be worth it to every stop using them. As much as some union people seem to hate all the overtime I bet a lot more budget that as expected income. If much of the overtime instead goes to contractors that could be a big financial blow to many if/when they return to work.
