Typically, the various functions I see severance through their own Understanding, Finance wants to control cost, Legal wants to minimize risk, next time may not be a severance package from a company that does not value employees
If layoffs are inevitable, Why this company keeps stretching out the process over weeks and months. Every quarter, The longer the uncertainty drags on, the more morale will suffer, many of us have polished our résumés, and those with the most desirable skills will find new jobs quickly.
