The company has sold us all out so let's return the favor and trade out of our company fund 100%. It's a small jester but well deserved. Collectively it will add up. Yes some market genius will say the price is down a little and to buy more, I say fu@-$;& you.

Guys, VZ stock pays a healthy cash dividend. Don't you think this would help while you are out of work? Or, are you selling stock to pay your bills?
I traded all my Verizon stock last Friday.
I understand there is no way to buy this outright now, but if the union took this approach from the first, over generations making it a consistent priority, then you would have real negotiating power. Imagine if this was implemented back in the 60s or 70s, what the level of ownership would be today?
Jester. Gesture. Same same.
LOL,
VZ is worth 200B.
The strike fund is 400M.
Not even .25%
Not enough to dictate anything
Not for nothing, but this a strategy I always thought the union failed miserably on. Wouldn't in turn make more sense to tell every member to collectively buy as much Vz stock as they can, and even so much as start a fund through the union to buy even more. The one entity any corporate leader listens to without question is the majority stock holders. If the union became the majority share holder, there would never be a need for a strike, since it is them that dictates the rules.
I hate you auto correct...sold. Yes, me not spell so good but me bone yo momA
