No way the union comes back before a holiday weekend and this month. Company won't allow it as it will be too complicated to reinstate benefits for the last few days of the month. Here is to hoping the union and Verizon come their senses in early June.

Trust me, Union folks won't be back anytime soon!
Verizon doesnt care about copper before we were on strike and they dont care while we are on strike
"In 2011 sheltons letter was basically a surrender. He said go back to work with no contract
Expect another one in a few weeks"
Only if he's dead set on being voted out of the office pronto, at the very best of circumstances for him...
The strikers are idiots. Stay out for five years. Somebody will do the work. No one's indispensable.
"We aren't going back anytime soon if we're not back during the first week of June."
I suspect that may be true nma :-( Im not sure when the door closes so to speak, buts its gotta be soon based on all the contractors going out. At some point so much effort and $ will have been spent that a point of no return would be reached, where VZ would have to admit spending too much $ for nothing....so they'll be forced to follow through with the contractor plans. One has to believe that this time is not that far in the future :-(

If the union says to go back and more info to follow
They will go back under old contract
"Will take a few days to ratify contract at this point also"
Make that a few weeks. At least. This time around the membership will insist on going over it with a microscope...
"We aren't going back until this is over or we would have been back last week."
We aren't going back anytime soon if we're not back during the first week of June.
As easy as it was to suspend benefits, they can be restored. A click of a button on a keyboard.
Valid point. Easier to reinstate at beginning of month. Will take a few days to ratify contract at this point also. We aren't going back until this is over or we would have been back last week.
Why not? Techs make big money for Holiday OT so there is some incentive if it's possible.
