Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

How do they do it?

I have a couple of questions, and hopefully can get some info from here (since upper management seems to be mute).

How are the calls scheduled? Do you get verbal notification, a call, or an email? Also, if someone doesn't have a call scheduled does that mean they got spared? Last, is this the process for all parts of the organization? Are notifications handled identically in call centers, retail locations, and corporate offices in Denver, LA, and Dallas?

Good luck to everyone, whatever the news.

I had a coworker impacted, they received a call earlier today and an email to follow with package information.

@bip - I can confirm this approach for our group - I am sure @dxb is right as well, as it depends on a group

In our calls, the directors are calling their teams. The VP/GM is calling the directors if they, too, are gone.
