Company will avoid Memorial Day pay to union members, but must start benefits back up immediately.. Members to return any day they wish 1st thru 3rd. Vacation time if we don't go back until week after that. We cannot call any type of strike, including wildcat, unless we give company 45 days notice (last time it was 30 days). Company agreed to start up benefits immediately rather than 10 or 15 days later. Company also agreed to hold off on termination of appr 25 employees identified as sabotaging the network, until a full investigation and proof is presented to the union.
As for the contract, the company y has moved a tiny bit on salary (up to 8% now) and some guarantees that temp transfers will be limited to one per year per employee, barring multiple 'acts of God in one season (hurricanes)...
