@uym: Look, I understand that union people aren't all that educated but I have to step in and let you know that when the market drops individual stocks drop too.
VZ hasn't dropped more than the market over the past six weeks which actually means the stock is outperforming the market.
Now, if the stock market was rising and VZ was dropping it would be a different story. But if you go back to school and learn about the economy and finance, you'll learn how it works.
I'm just letting you in on this so you don't look like a complete idiot when you tell your friends/relatives about how the strike has driven down the stock price.
