It is continual. They lay off in smaller numbers on a continuing basis to avoid the large number hitting the news. All in the plan to keep a low profile on the slaughter occurring.

It was a god damn bloodbath today, out of my whole team including my arms only 2 of use left and we cover an entire state. The least tenured person had 10 years in.

HR Screwed up? I don't blame HR..they are doing what they are told to do. Layoffs will continue to happen until all possible jobs are outside of the US - BRING BACK JOBS to the US!
There will be more. I was surplused in the March 2016 group, but HR screwed up. They only notified 410 people and it was supposed to be 610, so I heard there is to be 200 in June/July time frame to keep their schedule on track, as there will be another announced in October, due by December ( Happy Holidays from AT&T).
