Just spoke to a high level source who is close to the lead negotiators. All issues but one are agreed upon, sticking point being the pet insurance. The company is proposing a co pay of $50, Union wants $25, plus a better prescription plan that includes rabies and 12 months of heartworm pills. Company has contended that 6 months of heartworm is just as effective. Hopefully this issue can be resolved so we can get back to work.

Awesome, OP! Best post in days (seriously)!
Actually a lot of companies do offer pet insurance. I wouldn't mind that as a benefit
That was good, and yeah what the hell. We need that too. Add it to the list.
Still going for the fire hydrant.
If the dog gets a sex change, which bathroom will it use?
You laugh but that insurance is worth it now. Vet bills have skyrocketed.
If my dog wants a sex change would it be covered?
If my fish are not covered I am so done with this.
That's the dumbest thing I've heard so far. Go back to doing nothing.....
Another ignorant post.
Good one We all busted out laughing here at that one
Just give martin luther as a regular holiday than union will sign
