AT&T is chopping. Wireline, Wireless, and Direct TV, big cuts across the board on 2016 (15-20%)

Not if they are called "temps". And "temps" can be in that role for quite some time (aka the company will simply drag the negotiations out).

It's a closed shop in most states. They will be union whether you like it or not.
Verizon can hire them as non-union and than lock CWA out.

It seems that they will be closing all their retail locations, all 2,200 of them. Big hit in call centers too, outsourcing, closing, etc. There is nothing in the news, but the board is all lit up...
....which means, it's coming to VZW real soon.
