Buying Verizon Wireless on the Comcast website is a clear indication that Lowell has made a deal not to expand FiOS. He partners with Comcast to the detriment of Vz wireline. Now maybe its just me but, doesn't the code of conduct letter we sign every year speak directly to this issue. In other words, the "Code of Conduct " states I can be fired for working with or partnering with any organization that is in direct competition with Verizon. Seems like his deal with the enemy is a bit hypocritical and the shareholders should be upset about it!

This is the same guy that made a deal to let the wireless service be sold on the cable tv companies turf as part of their triple play

Only in Verizon can you go to Comcast for a triple play and a Verizon cell plan

The guy's vision is to just put in cheap wireless services for a quick buck and screw real broadband over wired networks. He hasn't helped himself with the failures of Go90, the retarded Credo, AOL, Yahoo (possibly), AwesomeTV, and his battles with the long standing labor unions. He's a slash and burn kind of guy. The thing I can't figure out is if he's playing dumb on the picket lines or is he really that clueless? Anyone have a solid answer?

If you look at the timing of his retirement that's an answer right there...he did not want his name associated with any of the nonsense that followed. And this is the man who - in truth - dealt union a death blow by getting it to sign the 2003 contract...

Lowell was just handed a golden opportunity and is driving it into the ground. It's ok though, he still has his golden paraschute. Now for Ivan, that was a real CEO who actually worked for it and was handed nothing. He started at the bottom and rose to the top, that's the American dream right there. I have no respect for "born with a Silver Spoon in his mouth" Lowell McAdams whatsoever.
