I saw on the CWA website the surplus, and there were some CSR last quarter and this quarter, so, no one is really safe.

It's just a slow constant roll. ATT has been slowly decreasing it's workforce by 3-5% annually.
When they purchased DTV it put their employee number at about 2006-2007 level. They will continue to purge because the goal is to run multiple companies with 1 staff. They have failed to do it in the past and will probably fail again because it's the same old attempt. They aren't training people properly and keep the same old crappy tech and processes in place.
