Why would anyone continue to give money to a company that wants them gone? I switched to Comcast after the 2nd week of the strike and have made over $3,000 so far in signing up others through their referral program. Easy money!!! Forget about "Feel the Bern." How about Feel the Churn!!!

This is not new or due to anything over the last few days. I heard this was going to be in acted first week of strike. I guess the bill is in arrears.

You can work at Walmart and get the same discounts on VZW as Verizon wireline employee. Just a disgrace the way we are treated from our own company.
Comcast here since VZ said it would take 4-6 weeks to move my service. $15 cheaper than employee FiOS plan with 150/20 instead of 50/50 Internet; works for me! I'm pretty sure my 22% cell discount is through CWA, not VZ but not positive.

Afraid that would happen. Had good luck with and enjoy Quantum TV, however minus discounts the scenario does change. Please clarify your location......are you now frontier cx or in in VZ. footprint in NE? I retired last year. My location is PA, anyone one else getting same letter?
Ol macdonald must be stamping his feet . F**k my fios discount. Cox cable has great deals. ATT is offering deals where you won't have to pay until the contract is settled. Such a petty move .
In some states they are getting unemployment. In others they will soon.
FIOS and cell phone discounts are NOT Union negotiated benefits.
The only thing keeping me with Verizon right now is the discount.
Feel free to remove it Verizon. Cablevision has a great 3year deal I'll jump into and I'm fine with going to a different Mobil carrier as well

If true, another stupid decision by corporate. CATV makes it painless to switch, so does AT&T. That would result in a big customer loss, can't see them doing something like that, but seems they are grasping at straws now. It appears high level execs have no idea what to do after their plan to break the Union failed miserably. Bye bye Lowell, Mudge, Shammo when all this is over.

Those must have been employee discounts. You need to be an employee to get them. Just like a paycheck.
