If it makes you feel any better, I'm 2000 miles from home, have been home for four days in the past six weeks, and have been working 7 days a week for a month. So yeah, I know what you mean!

EWA here working six twelves in my own town and I'm sick of it. I'm sick of the sh--ty leadership , the long hours, the sh--ty food, the time away from home. The extra money doesn't make up for it. Here's holding out hope that they sort it out next week.
And, OP here again, closing on a 2nd house in Comcast/ Frontier-land on Monday. They are soooo much sleazier than VZ will ever be.
Love FiOs at our main home. Comcast was the better deal vs Frontier world wide wait DSL.

There was rotting food under the desk by the Jack the guy wanted him to fix.....unidentifiable rotting food. Eeeeeewwwww.
I have to say, talking to him over the last several weeks has given me new respect for the unexpected "delights" that technicians have to deal with every day.
What about the people with sex toys. Plus, the dog crap in every room. Or, people bare assand still want there 5 box triple play. I bet Lowell didn't give a heads up on that one. No pun with the head up either.
For those who are "happy" with the ewa money I'm glad for you and hope you are single. If you are married and still look at a bigger paycheck keep it up because either your relationship is ending soon , or is not what you thought it was behind the dollar bill. We have a mgr in eastern va who's wife was banging folks while he was out earning that dollar. That's why he had to move from New York to va

I'm in EWA hell too. The money doesn't make up for the long hours in an assignment I hate, and being away from my family. And I'm always tired, sore, and sleepy. I don't want to resign because looking for a new job is stressful too.
you can be happy with your ewa check but most ewa want to go back home and be with their families. money is not the only thing in life. Vz and the Union leaders are taking all for a long ride. They need to resolve this issue. At the moment no one is winning. this has to end!
Sorry to hear that, my ewa is not bad at all, especially when that direct deposit comes in.
