VZ has the chance to really move into not just a telecomm giant, but they have the means to in tech as well. I think Lowell and Co. need to be shown the door soon after this ends and get fresh young blood in. These guys are too old school. It's interesting to see what this company will look like even 5 years from now. Any serious responses?

Verizon tried to play hardball, not knowing the LBO was not following the legal way to bargain in good faith. Ive said this before and you all can believe it or not..Everything you want to change has to be bargained. So a company can not take something away unless it has been bargained. The company would have been able to offer a perk if contract signed by a certain date, but they CAN NOT take something away. That is in reality a threat. Threatening to take something away from employees if they do not sign is not legal in the good faith bargaining process. I understand many of you want to believe the company knows best, but in this case the company can be charged with unfair labor.
For such a dominant company, why does VZ have such a terrible portfolio of acquisitions? Pretty much no names besides AOL which not the best either. If they want to get exclusively into Tech aside from Wireless, they should try and buy out a company like a Snapchat.
Verizon doesn't have the people in place that know and will promote talented people.
Go90!!!
There are some execs in the VZ pipeline now that, IMO, fit the mold you might be describing. Will they be moved to the top? Who knows.......
