The quality of scab this time around is unbe-F**king-lievable ! Is Verizon doing anything more than checking for a pulse before hiring? I wouldn't let these people mow my lawn, let alone trust them to come into in my house.

Union-the minor part of the company you represent is chugging along without you. Is it as quick as with you there, probably not. But it is surviving. Training is continuing. I would come back soon, else there may not be a job to come back too.
I asked my EWA husband who is outside of DC if he is having any problems or comments from the customers. He says nope that they are all nice. Not a one has mentioned the strike. And they are happy their sometimes long standing problem is getting fixed. He says the work is slowing down and they are going to start concentrating on installations next. Apparently you can teach highly educated people technical jobs and they will succeed.
I am not aware of any scabs working for the company; only employees. I hear a bunch of chumps are out on strike though and I hear they should not even worry about the current, assumed level of service and work as they will not have positions to come back to.
So says the lazy good for nothing needs to be fired union guy. How on earth do you know the quality of anything? Oh I know, you learned it walking around in circles. I sure hope VZ sticks to their original plan.
