We all fight amongst ourselves and let these corporate clowns keep so much more than any of the Union members or Ewa workers. We should take this fight to the right place for all of our sakes. Sending jobs overseas has an impact on all of us and our future as working class people.

They can't do the job or anything close to it. If you ever dealt with them you would figure that out immediately. I work with the guys in the Philippines to test and turn up some equipment I install for Verizon. It takes several of them hours to do what a US employee does in minutes. Sales fall threw and takes months our years to get circuits turned up through these people. There is no comparison and as for the high school education comment, there are many highly educated people working in the ranks at Verizon. If you sit at a desk and are an accountant, lawyer, analyst even with your degrees you are still screwed real soon with changes in technology and algorithms. There needs to be a system that rewards companies for treating the workers like people and creating jobs.
It's almost over, some thoughts
There is not much difference between Union and EWA's holding down the fort. Management employees going to work everyday are not scabs, they have no choice. Scabs are the spineless creatures who crossed the picket line and went to work, union members that is. We will be back soon but back to a new normal.
It's just a paycheck now. The company spends a lot of time during normal times talking about ethics and doing the right thing. I hope to ask Lowell someday how is taking jobs from the U.S. and moving them to the Philippines ethical? You create two sets of victims. The first victims are the employees who lose their jobs here. The second victims are the people in the Philippines who work for $1.78 per hour. That's what they pay over there. I understand it's legal but just because it's legal doesn't make it right. This company will never have any moral high ground on any subject if they think it's ok to pay another human being $1.78 per hour for services rendered. I know the cost of living is less there, it's still not a living wage. This was once a place of pride, there's nothing left. I hold no ill will towards any EWA you had to suffer through this in a different manner than the Union people. We have much more in common than we have apart, we are both miles away from the likes of Lowell, and that's a good thing. I don't make living being a wh--eto Wall Street, and I sleep good at night.
If a job can be sent overseas I don't think that really is a job worth having. If you can be replaced by someone who thinks they won the lottery in the PI for less than $2 an hour your job requirement is: high school education only.
Then vote for the Libertarians or the Greens. Think outside the red pill or blue pill.
But with Presidential candidaes like Clinton (sold) and Trump (for sale) things will never change. All corporations will continue to walk on the masses.
