Two problems w your theory...they make tons of money in the big east coast cities, and no one could afford to buy it. They have tried and tried, but east coast states won't let them sell of portions of states that aren't as profitable as the cities.
So......your point?
Doesn't matter. Even if you stay with VZ, you'll be frontier in a few years. North east is the only wireline region left standing.
