@ltn: I hope an axe murderer breaks into your house and the police don't answer when you call crying for protection. It would serve you right.

" And the current president, a DEMOCRAT who is known for siding with labor is now being unfair?"

Truth be told, no one who pushes for TPT as much as Obama has been is siding with labor. He's just another corporate puppet, as is the vast majority of his fellow Democrats.

He played against the unions in Detroit, and will have no problem doing it again against others, albeit in a veiled fashion. Organized labor - with a possible single exception of teacher's unions - hasn't had a friend in the White House for a very, very, long time.

That article is ridiculous. So the author now thinks the government and local police are against the poor little union people now in addition to the rest of the world.

Just why do you think the union worker was around a police car carrying "scabs" anyway? The poor innocent guy was there just minding his own business right? No way he ran in front of the police car screaming obscenities at the scabs and police officers daring them to run over him, right? And the current president, a DEMOCRAT who is known for siding with labor is now being unfair?

Maybe if the author stopped and looked at the whole situation he'd realize it's not that "everyone else" is wrong and the union right. Maybe he'd find that the things this union is asking for are ridiculous and even the union leadership, President, and police realize it.

This is EXACTLY what I've been worried about. If I went through this hell for nothing I'm going to lose my $hit.

I certainly don't see any evidence from the union that it's wrong!!

One thing for sure, they are starting to return some EWA staff back to their home cities. Not excused from strike duty, but they are re-arranging work sites to make it less stressful. So that in itself makes it sound as though this isn't close to over. This was just communicated today, so I would think if a deal was close, they wouldn't be spending this time and energy moving people around.

"That site has been saying the same thing for weeks."

True.

If they're proven to be correct in the end - which is what many on the union side fear - more power to them and unfortunately less for us...

Yeah, not a credible source. If I can't scour Reddit, Twitter, or a few other darknet sites for info, then there's no news here.

Nice to see that they are the only site reporting that there is a deal in place and that the Unions are going to be forced to kiss the brown star of Verizon.
