Thread regarding AT&T Inc. layoffs

Frustrating Situation

This has seriously been the most annoying situation. Like can you tell us already because we have our lives to figure out and we aren't children.

I have been trying to get a hold of my manager for three days and been getting no response or call back yet they expect us to go about our jobs business as usual like this isn't looming over us?

Oh and FYI....performance this month sucks...gee I wonder why. How about you show some decency to the people that have spent years here growing your company and at least get us a response back in time?

This has been the most frustrating experience during my time at Att through all the bs. How are we suppose to have a back up plan when we don't even have a timeframe of when we are going to know if we are leaving?!

Show some respect for people's lives!!!!!

trust me, once you are charge of your destiny, you will see things differently, not before

I've already got 2 job interviews lined up, I took this month as an extra month for a job hunt. I just hope I don't get a great offer and then regret not volunteering. There are a lot of jobs out there, we are lucky this isn't 2008.

As many jobs att plans to cut you'd think they'd be coming up with some highly agile optimum way to surplus (communication, etc) but they don't. It really is up to you like another poster suggested. Since they're keeping you in the dark I'd be using that time going on job and network dates. Plan "b" sometimes can be better than "a"

Backup plan is yours to make, not the company

In the dark, they keep us, only at AT&T
