Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

BREAKING NEWS......CWA TO BUY YAHOO...

Sources close to both sides have confirmed off record, and with full anonymity, that CWA has expressed interest in the internet content provider. Yahoo CEO Marissa Mayer had hinted earlier this week that there was an "out of the Box" offer for the Company. This would be related to the recent offer by a consortium that includes billionaire investor Warren Buffett and Dan Gilbert, Quicken Loans' founder and owner of the NBA's Cleveland Cavaliers.

CWA would not only then own the company but has said it would "lease" some of Yahoo assets to Verizon whom had been, and is still a bidder for the Giant search engine company. Verizon had no comment as they are locked in a bitter Strike with the Unions one being CWA.

CWA spokesperson Mike Ciancarelli has said "it's a free country...we'll buy whatever the f%&K we want.

bad news, they can't handle a contract and now they are going to buy a company with declines in revenue, this is a recipe for disaster!!!,

Good, then they can all quit and go work for Yahoo and pay themselves CEO type salaries. Problem solved, strike ended.

Thats not true. It is actually Verizon that is bidding for Yahoo. Right now we are on strike, so Verizon will likely wait before they buy it. The CWA is an organized labor organization that wouldnt be able to buy a company like Yahoo.

My guess is they're trying to raise the price through a bidding war. This would get VZ bid higher. Typical Union dirtbags,
