I went through the layoff and my last day was September 29. My director actually called me. My area manager didn't know.
I was offered a drop and compete offer but it was in Bedminster, NJ and I declined it. AT&T was paying the move and provided a move package. AT&The was upset I didn't take the drop and compete offer.
I'm glad I didn't take it. I found a much better job. For those impacted by this downsizing get you are in my prayers.
