Stocks go up and down.

The Union has nothing to do with it.

Union knuckledraggers attacking Verizon for interest in old antiquated companies like yahoo, blockbuster etc, but see no irony in wanting VZ to keep the old antiquated union.

That's a special kind of stupid there...

For all you football fans out there here is an analogy you can get with. Top management at Verizon s running the company like Dan Snyder of the Redskins. Buying AOL and perusing Yahoo is like, when Snyder and the no nothing GM Cerrato going out and getting Deion Sanders and Bruce Smith, well past their prime and signing them to huge contracts. The sad thing is Skins fans had to watch this idiot run the team for 17 years like someone playing a Nintendo game. WTF AOL and Yahoo have that's so damn important?

To nzf: I agree, Yahoo is awful. So is 'Internet of Things' in general. Stratton loves this crap, it's all on him.

@kpt I thought the Wireline and Union were so insignificant to the mighty Verizon. If what you are saying is true then the Mighty Verizon would not be effected at all either way. Or are you just talking out of your A$$ again? fool

If Verizon would stop being the last stop on the failure railroad for losing companies....AOL....Yahoo...It might have a chance...But their CEO just love's these duds.

If Verizon was able to get rid of the stranded union work force, I am sure that stock would rally immediately !
