I was the union guy in VA calling for a vote last week. This is good news if true. Either way though, it don't matter, I quit the union and crossed, as did 7 out of 9 of us. Just couldn't take not being paid for much longer. Being small, our garage didn't get crazy amts of OT like some of the yankee techs did, so crossing was a no brained. Good luck to the rest of you.
Union 100% generational, but let me vote. It's my right . I'd abide by the outcome. Never cross.
Since the company sent a copy of their LBFO, minus 500 odd pages of pertinent information, then the union sent via email (saving over 500k in postage) explaining the real ramifications of each line, point by point, I tend to believe the union on this. I think most voted with a return to sender, a nice fire, bird cage lining or just dropping in the trash with the rest of the junk mail.
