This is been in the works for 3 years. The Pacific Northwest market has switched a third of their stores to dealers already because they have weak union opposition and labor laws there.Alaska and Hawaii corporate owned stores and Indirect have been working under the same leadership for corporate owned and Indirect for a long time so anyone paying attention should have seen the massive cuts in indirect coming for a while. Earlier threads will explain what their plans are with corporate stores and how they plan to cut union membership in retail outsource to non union dealers and then outsource the internal att dealer management that runs the dealer communication and keep it barely staffed. They also are conducting dealer mergers behind the scenes so large dealers swallow up the small ones. If you work for a small regional dealer your days under current leadership are not many

The goal is to grow Authorized Retail and keep a small amount of ATT retail stores. Authorized retail is growing by the hunderds. Less overhead less employees.
ATT still tries to manage their employees as their own but not have to pay benefits, salary and overhead. Can grow whoever wants to take the att initiative and play several Dealers against each other to get their way.
