Looked to me like the driver exited on the left side of driveway rather than right side of the road (which was open)- did he think he was in England momentarily ?
you're right.. the driver was wrong. however, the pedestrians made a choice first... if they woulda stayed away from the car, the driver would never have had to react one way or the other. the pedestrians got what they deserved.
the jump in front of cars to stage problems. Everyone knows it. Their injuries are their just desserts.
Because you swear doesn't make it right. Driver should have called the police. You don't have a right to hit someone with your car.
