According to the Department of Labor, both Verizon and the unions have agreed to “make no public statements” as they work to hash out the terms of a new contract that will end the more than month-long strike of nearly 40,000 workers. Similarly, the Department of Labor said there will be no public comments from the federal officials involved in the negotiations as talks continue through this week

Yes, because we have heard so much good info from the Union prior to this point. One day stronger! DERP!
Sorry, but I don't think the public, in general, actually cares.
@fpz.... yeah, because you know you guys are overpaid already.
I will give back the raise they offered, that's a give back.
where did this person get this information
Most union think the only idea of a good offer is "no give backs" which will never fly in mediation. Good luck.
Yeah really. Yes we wont hear anything for the week. I believe this will be favorable to the Union since Obama wants a democrat in office. If this is not a GOOD offer then it will cause anger and mistrust going forward with all the other Union contracts coming up. Then Union members may not vote democrat. So I believe this one will be extremely well and the next IDK.

The only way you get to hear anything is if you have a "trusted source" like so many people claim to have here on this board.
