Cut off our nose spite our face. $15k lost wages over $1500 in lost benefits makes sense where?

OP....you may pay dues, but you are not a union member. Grow a pair.
well... maybe home depot or McDonalds will be hiring.....
@1hqm I'm not whining you fool. I am making a very valid point about how all of you sheep chant no givebacks and wear shirts that say it while GIVING BACK.
I would not trade this time off for all the OT I could work. I've worked 70 hour weeks, the pay was nice but the time off is better. And whenever we do get back I still have all my vacation.
If that's the case then the company can remove all the givebacks since we "paid" for them in lost salaries
Cross then you pussy. Quit whining and be a man and sack up. Be a part of the fight or jump the fence...no one is holding you back tough guy
Agreed! We've all lost in pay 5 times plus what give backs we are going to end up agreeing to anyway. Net loss....
Take the time off and rest. When you get back you can work the OT. If not for the strike threat, we would not have the things we have. It's part of being a member, trust in leadership, it's your only choice.
No contract will make up for what has already been lost. DERP.
36,000 salaries not paid for a month and change... I wonder if Verizon has saved enough $$$ on us to give a better contract offer yet.
Great point. As a union member I want to go back to work as soon as we can and stop giving back.
