Anxiety at DTV Corporate in El Segundo

I don't mean to ignore the folks at the call centers or in other T locations, but I'm wondering what the overall feeling is among the legacy DTV people in the corporate office in El Segundo.

I see some folks who are clearly worried, while others seem to be totally unconcerned. I know that some groups in El Segundo work on very specialized DTV areas that don't have an overlap with T functions, but I wonder whether that makes them safe. Also, will the cuts affect DTV people disproportionally compared to T people, or will the choice for layoffs be made based on actual performance and not whether you were legacy T or DTV?

I guess we only have a few more days to find out.

U-verse people will be long gone before their beloved DTV people get the ax! They lost their free coffee and the world was coming to an end. What are they going to do when Aramark dismantles that 5 star cafeteria and puts in vending machines? Buying DTV is the downfall for thousands of employees. ATT does not give one crap about us
