To the OP: I do not see anything about drunk driving in any articles, only an improperly vetted outside contractor driving with a suspended license - so I think you made that part up. Also, it looked like the EWA worker was not properly informed about waiting until all strikers got out of the way - it appears that Davenport and others were trying to become another Gerry Horgan hood ornament. Don't block or walk in front of vehicles, please.

@gia. So now you're worried about customer service? I would say that walking off the job leaving the customers without support is worse customer service. Oh, but you don't want to talk about that I'm sure?

@gia I actually don't drink alcohol. So, now that we've settled that, the only open issue is the fact that you have yet another day planned of walking in circles to earn your $2/HR. Now, I realize it's hard for you to comprehend, but you need to realize that soap is a GOOD thing, and shouldn't be avoided. The stinch you all give off is nauseating. As is the extreme number of overweight, bloated, looking strikers who look more like an escaped chain gang than anything else. If you can't afford soap any longer, maybe after you swallow for your union boss tomorrow, he will give you a tip.

Well i might not be working tomorrow but I'm sober, I would advise you to get some help for yourself. and your fellow drunken EWA's Stop making the news for your alcoholic ways. It's horrible customers service to show up drunk.

@itcb well, you're right I do have to go to work tomorrow. Unfortunately, you can't say the same lol. Now, practice bending over so you're ready for your union boss tomorrow.

@tog HOLLY CRAP! here's one right now!....He's drinking as he types his drunken alcoholic incoherent rant. You EWA people really need to stop drinking.

If you can't stop on your own, The company does have an Employee Assistance Program that will help you. Showing up at customers homes bombed drunk will absolutely get you fired and you will lose everything, not to mention driving while drunk.

Please stop drinking tonight you have work in the morning.

First of all, you illiterate lazy co(k suckers need to get out of the way. Get in front of traffic, and you get hit. Plain and simple. Secondly, i would still rather have this guy in my home than any of you pathetic disgusting union trash. I would have to make you take a flea and tick dip before I let your smelly, rank, bloated a$$ in my home. Would probably never get rid of the stinch you leave behind.

Why is Verizon hiring suspended licences??? Seems a simple request that you have a licence to drive a big truck like that? Verizon just doesn't care, and this is just example of how much Verizon doesn't care.

@ccd - People leave the scene for other reasons looks like he returned and that is when he got arrested...there was no alcohol related charge.

@fqh No F-ing difference.......Both the exact same, and both fall down drunks , showing up, and ready to go into a customers homes! Verizon is absolutely disgusting letting these criminals dirt bag drug addicts into peoples homes to represent Verizon. It just goes to show you how low Verizon as a company is.

UNBELIEVABLE! The report also said after the police investigation and thorough truck inspection "if the Verizon Truck was a horse, it would have been put down on the spot"

Because the job is stressful and they can't handle it would be my guess, so they need to numb themselves. Guess they do need the union techs back since they have thicker skin and can do the job without being wasted.

"Workers said Goodale was driving aggressively, while Verizon said the picketing workers were too close and created a dangerous situation."

Get out of the freaking way you idiots! I'm sure you guys are just jumping in front of the vehicles. Btw, I hope the pickter is okay.
