The only losers will be Mark Reed and Larry Marcus. Their negotiating strategy has cost Verizon hundreds of millions in wasted expense, brand negativity and loss of morale amongst employees both un union and management.
I met a guy who had over 20 years in call center management and was hired by verizon. He quickly moved on from Verizon. He said he never saw such aweful treatment of workers. It was always about demeaning and punishing workers. Never give the workers a complement always attack. This is why all the veterans Verizon hires quit. One former staff sargeant said he would have been fragged in Iraq if he treated his troops like verizon treats its employees.

Lets hope so. The hatred,general contempt, and childish bashing on both sides needs to end. I read this site looking for updates and Ive seen nicer more civilized posts on a 7th graders Facebook feed.
I hope there is an acceptable agreement for both sides soon so we can all act like humans again and not internet gangsters with attitudes. Best wishes to all on both sides. God Bless
