I am fortunate to have worked for a company for 34 years that had pay and benefits similar to Verizon. Now retired and collecting a pension from same company. The newer employees no longer are offered a pension.... only a 401k . The corporate ceo and shareholder greed has dragged this countrys middle class down far too long. My neighbor travels out of town often and was gone for almost 3 weeks this time, only to come home and find that Verizon had cut his tv service. It had only been late 14 days! He was HOT. I told him that was ridiculous. He said if it happens again like that Verizon is history. I said I would do the same. There will be no strikebreakers allowed on my premises if my fios acts up.

I'd like to check that account. I suspect this isn't the first non-pay disconnect he's had.
People do sometimes run up the bill with no intention of paying or get so far in the hole it takes forever to pay it back. Best to nip it in the bud as Barney Fife used to say.
Why don't you really teach us a lesson and cancel you Fios? Or, you can just be a deadbeat and not pay your bill. As your neighbor learned deadbeats don't get a free ride. A lot of union deadbeats are also figuring that out.

In addition, why would thy neighbor lay blame to a company when, as admitted he failed to pay his bill. Good thing it was not the Power company or he would be crying in his spoiled milk. My Lord, what ever happened to one being held accountable for your own actions or lack of, I bet you a nickel your idiot neighbor is a Democrat.
