I finished six tickets before 6pm today. I am not trolling. If you want to talk about RIF, please stop. Because I volunteer for RIF this year.
I was watching 3 trucks with 6 EWA'S try to set a ladder up through a tree. 3 on the ladder , 2 females with shiny new work boots and hard hats on backwards watching and one bald old guy on his cell trying to find someone who had a clue. 3 hours on jobsite they all packed up and left...job was returned to cable. You can't make this sh-- up!

@oak. I don't disparage your choices, so I would appreciate the same from you. This board is so anti-gay it's sad. Especially from the union guys. Totally ticks me off, especially since I know so many of them "very" well.
I can tell you where an average of at least 5 per day are, and that's my apartment. I've given so many brojobs to union guys who are supposed to be on strike duty that my jaws are aching. I mean I don't mind, but I'm guessing they really should be doing their picket duty instead of texting me all day to "swing by for a minute". This is why so many union guys post about EWA staff missing their wives, etc. they know what they are out doing instead of doing their strike duty so they assume everyone cheats. And yea, I've met quite a few EWA guys alone in their hotels too, but it's definitely more union guys hitting me up

Us exempt employees get OT while on EWA. Why do you think we love this so much? $91/hour is great Thursday through Saturday.
They are waxing the union bosses cars and planes, a nickel and a hotdog for the day.
Lots of immature comments. Guess that was expected. By the way, there are lots of management without an EWA assignment yet. I expect that will change as the strike progresses, but for all who think that somehow the company has maxed out what they can do, they have no idea. Prepared to go long.

I thought they have to put in 35 hours a week on the picket line to be eligible for the Strike Fund? They are rarely here at my location. Never more than a few hours in the morning.

Probably can't find any lawn chairs to bring with them. What a disgrace. They say they are fighting for a "fair" contract but sit in chairs outside of Verizon Wireless stores and say they are picketing. LAZY!
