Account Executives Fight for Better Severance!

Account Executives are level 1 and have no special rights or union membership.Since AEs are sales positions AEs will get 80% instead of 100% severance based on the base and at risk. A reasonable statement for all the AEs who get chosen for severance should be that we get included in the 100% of the at risk and base. If we all ask for this reasonable thing I think that would be a fair departure from AT&T. You don't have to be confrontational about it but we should all demand that we get 100% of our 50% salary paid out. Worst thing that goes on is they say no

Negotiate?, Just try to call the severance group, you will never get a call back, the surplus HR representatives assigned to your case, are not even qualified to answer he most basic questions. based on OP comment, to negotiate you will need to hire a lawyer to rebview the agreement and add the clause you want to get a response from the legal department, since the offers has to be modified. good luck with that, The typical structure of the deal, by design is for you to wave your rights to future litigation and accept what s given to you, that is it!!!! Btw, you only have 60 days to take the deal...

Any agreement is negotiable, severance is no different. It's actually on att.'s website. This likely might take some legal counsel but again any agreement is negotiable.
